Who We Serve
How Support Is Structured
Operation Scholars provides trauma-informed support across all tiers of intervention, creating a more seamless experience for the students, families, schools, and communities it serves. Instead of piecing together multiple providers to meet different levels of need, partners can rely on one organization with the range, flexibility, and insight to support the full continuum of care. The result is a more connected, responsive approach to student support — one that meets needs early, intentionally, and with greater consistency.
Led With Purpose. Built for Impact.
Founded by De’Marieya Nelson, Operation Scholars was built from lived experience, resilience, and a deep commitment to creating better outcomes for young people navigating real challenges. His story is rooted in adversity, but also in vision — a belief that support should be more responsive, more intentional, and more connected to the realities students face every day. What began as a personal understanding of what young people need has grown into a mission-driven organization, carried by a team that values collaboration, consistency, and care. Together, Operation Scholars exists to meet students with structure, support, and hope while building the kind of trusted village lasting change requires.
